This is one of my favorite watches. I love the contrast of the blue hands on the cream colored dial. Plus, at 40mm this watch it neither too large or too small and works very well with a dress shirt. This watch came with a different dark brown strap, which looked fine in pictures but in person was too shiny. I really like the new tan leather strap which has a nice matte finish.
Wow, your Orient Bambino really sings with with the after-market band. Nice choice! The stock band looks too shiny and the dark color has too much visual weight, given it's width. I'm thinking of buying the same model Bambino and would appreciate knowing the brand and model of the band. Thanks

ReplyDeleteIt is a Hadley-Roma strap from ebay and I restitched it myself. It is a true 21mm strap. Since then I have found BOB Alligator Style Watch Bands, which are higher quality and have many great options at a great price point. Since publishing these pics I have purchased a few 21mm BOB straps in dark brown and navy blue and I highly recommend. I will post more pics later.
